Mini Interview with Paul J. Stam, Author of THE TELEPHONE KILLER

Second Wind: What was your childhood like?

Paul J. Stam: It was fantastic. Of course I didn’t know at the time how absolutely fantastic it was. Growing up in Central Africa I was aware that it was not the usual American childhood, but it was mine. I didn’t know how special it was until I came to the United States when I was fifteen and discovered that you didn’t have to raise the vegetables, or slaughter your own livestock to eat. You could just go to a store and buy it.
